Phoenix Ball 2004

Message from Co-chair

The Phoenix Ball is the annual gala of the Mississauga Board of Chinese Professionals Businesses (CPB), and has always been a meaningful fundraising event for our community.

For the upcoming Phoenix Ball 2004, CPB has decided to continue its focus on local charities and organization to help them achieve their fundraising goals. The make up of these charities and organizations, which we affectionately call our "partner-recipients", cross over into all aspects of our lives, and in many ways have positively affected our communities.

We are extremely proud of our Chinese heritage, and it goes without saying that the Chinese Cultural Centre of Greater Toronto has helped to contribute and maintain to that sense of pride. We have world-class health facilities here in Mississauga, second to none, with the Credit Valley Hospital and the Trillium Health Centre.

Similarly, the University of Toronto at Mississauga has educated our children and helped to put Mississauga on the map for first-class educational facilities.

Finally, the construction of the Yee Hong Centre for Geriatric Care in Mississauga have provided the superior lifestyle and care facilities that our seniors so badly need.

We hope that you will help us support these worthy charitable organizations to enhance the well being of our community.
