Phoenix Ball 2004-Silent Auction
August 18, 2004
Dear Sir/Madam:
Re: Phoenix Ball 2004-Silent Auction
The Mississauga Board of Chinese Professionals & Businesses (CPB) is proud to host the Phoenix Ball 2004 on Sunday, October 17, 2004 at the Mississauga Convention Centre. As you may be aware, the Ball is the primary fundraising event for CPB and this year, we hope to raise funds for 5 distinctly worthy charitable organizations: Chinese Cultural Centre of Greater Toronto, Credit Valley Hospital, Trillium Health Centre, University of Toronto at Mississauga, and the Yee Hong Community Wellness Foundation.
For most of us, these 5 organizations have positively touched the lives of our friends, families and neighbours through their outstanding work and services. All of these organizations are in the middle of a capital campaign to expand and develop their facilities and services and require our help.
We hope that you will support these 5 outstanding charities, and CPB, by donating a silent auction item or items for the event. As in the past, it is expected that the Ball will be attended by over 1,000 well-connected and influential guests and patrons from the political, business and professional communities. As a donor of silent auction item(s), you will certainly enhance the allure and prestige of the Ball to make it an overwhelming success.
Kindly also keep in mind that your generous sponsorship and support to make this fundraising campaign will ultimately benefit the whole community as a majority of the proceeds from the Ball will be distributed to these charitable organizations.
Please do not hesitate to call us if you require any further information. We look forward to your favourable consideration to be a silent auction sponsor at our Phoenix Ball 2004.
Yours truly,
Lily Van Co Chair, Phoenix Ball 2004
